The New York Jets at the final National Football League playoff berth with a 37-0 win over the Cincinnati Bengals in the last game of the regular season.

Thomas Jones had two rushing touchdowns for the Jets (9-7), who won five of their final six games to reach the postseason for the first time since 2006.

New York will again face the Bengals (10-6) in the first round of the American Football Conference playoffs next week.

The Baltimore Ravens locked up the AFC’s other wild card playoff berth today with a 21-13 win over the Oakland Raiders. The wins by the Jets and Ravens eliminated the Houston Texans and defending Super Bowl-champion Pittsburgh Steelers, both 9-7, from playoff contention

The two group will again meet on January 9,2010 for the NFL Play Off
