I know that everybody is excited for the upcoming FIFA even that will be held on June 12th to July 13th of this year. The game will happen in Brazil. In this regards, Emirates, an official sponsor of FIFA, announced Cristiano Ronaldo as their 2nd global Ambassador. Their first Global Ambassador, Pelé had been announced as Emirates Ambassador since 2006.
The announcement of their 2nd Global Ambassador was made during Emirates Press conference in Madrid held last 28th of March 2014. In the same press conference it was also mentioned that Cristiano Ronaldo and Pelé, will be part of a digital campaign which will be shown in Youtube as well as in their flagship carrier, A380 via their on board lounge.

FIFA Ballon d’Or 2013. He will lead is national team
to South America to compete in his third tournament, his second as Captain. He
has the record of being the youngest Portuguese player to be capped over 100

Emirates want to go beyond transporting people and moreover to connect them through sports and
culture. Emirates, an official FIFA Partner since 2006, is also involved with
the FIFA Women’s World Cup, the FIFA U20 and U17 World Cup, as well as the FIFA
World Cup.
It is expected that Emirates will transport over 18,000
passengers during the month-long tournament this year.
